Tour Itinerary:

Your adventure begins with a comfortable, private transfer from your hotel or Airbnb in Medellin.

The drive to our adventure base is approximately one hour and takes you through winding mountain roads, offering panoramic views of the Andean countryside and the vibrant greens of Antioquia’s natural beauty.

Once we arrive at our private eco-reserve the owners welcome you with a delicious fresh hot coffee grown by their neighbors.

Then, your professional guides will provide a thorough safety briefing.

You’ll get suited up with a harness, helmet, gloves, and all the necessary gear.

Even if you’ve never done canyoning or tree climbing before, don’t worry—our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way.

Tree climbing with ropes and harnesses – 1.5 to 2 hours –

Your Canyoning & Tree Climbing tour in Medellin kicks off with the tree climbing activity.

Using ropes, ascenders, and a safe climbing system, you’ll scale one of the region’s majestic trees.

From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views over the valley—an awe-inspiring reward for your effort.

This is not just climbing—it’s a vertical journey into the canopy, a place where exotic and very colorful birds come to visit.

And once you’ve reached the top, you can even relax on a high-hanging catamaran net strung between the branches, feeling the breeze and the thrill of elevation.

And then you rappel all the way down to the ground in a safe but very fun way.

Canyoning Adventure – 1.5 to 2 hours –

After the tree climbing, we’ll provide you a neoprene wet suit to keep you warm and comfortable with the cold water.

Then we walk for about 7 minutes on a trail that is often full of butterflies.

This is your chance to slow down, catch your breath, and soak up the serenity of nature to finally reach the first waterfall.

Imagine rappelling down waterfalls surrounded by dense jungle, crystal-clear streams at your feet, and birdsong echoing overhead.

You’ll descend through a series of waterfalls ranging from 10 to 25 meters, each offering a new perspective of the untouched forest.

You’ll navigate natural rock slides, swim through fresh pools, and challenge your comfort zone—all while being securely harnessed and supported by your guides.

In total there will be 3 rappels included in the activity.

After canyoning, we’ll hike a short but steep trail through the forest, learning about native plant species, local wildlife, and the ecological importance of preserving this unique environment.

After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Colombian lunch prepared by local cooks.
