The horse back riding was very exciting and calm the ATVS were very exciting and fast we took a break and had a swim in the waterfall before continuing. Our family had such a wonderful experience. Our tour guide Esteban was exceptional! He was punctual to picking us up at our hotel. very friendly and polite as he drove us to our destinations. He would answer all of our questions and teach us about the sights of Medellin along the way. We started with ATVs and it was such a fun experience! Staff was incredible and the scenery on the ride was incredible. We then went horse back riding and also had a wonderful time. Cannot recommend this tour enough.

We had an incredibly awesome time on both the Yamaha ATVs and the horse rides. We were met by Andres at our hotel. He spoke both English and Spanish fluently and was very informative on the ride to the ATVs and the horses. He picked us up in an air conditioned and comfortable SUV. The ride on the ATVs was a lot of fun. My three adult children, husband and I all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had various terrain and magnificent views. We loved flying through the puddles, navigating hills, turns and rocky terrain. We loved the mud. It was far from boring. Equally if not more thrilling for us was riding the horses. I’ve ridden horse about five other times in the states and these horses were by far the most relaxed and cooperative I’ve ever been on. I thought I’d be a little nervous and I was not at all. I felt completely safe and at ease. The tour was so much fun and again the scenery was beautiful. We started just at a slow pace and worked up to trotting then went up and down hills all the while enjoying the gorgeous views. On our way back we were asked if we wanted to gallop. Some of us did and boy, it was a blast! We could not stop smiling from all the fun we had. My adrenaline seeking son said it was his favorite experience and we’ve been doing tours all over Colombia for a week now. I could not recommend Andres enough. He was fun and professional. I enjoyed doing our tour so much we chose him for our next adventure to Guatapé and a boat ride with his team for our next day. You can’t go wrong choosing Medellin Day Trips.

Absolutely amazing experience!!!! Our guide, Laura, was the best. She was extremely friendly, and gave us wonderful information about the surrounding area, recommendations about different activities and restaurants, and generally just got to know us better. Not only was she a great guide, but the experiences themselves were top tier. They are as advertised, and then some (even better than anticipated!!). Another thing that was appreciated is how healthy the horses were. They are clearly well taken care of. The team is sure to listen to your needs/requests and delivers them. Laura took plenty of pictures and videos and they all came out fantastic. I would recommend Laura to anyone looking to make a friend in a guide, as well as be delivered a 10/10 experience. We left as happy as we could possibly be. Do this tour!!!!

Best experience ever especially the attention we got from Juan who actually picked us up on time at our Hotel then took us to the horse back riding with Omar who was excellent aswell we had time before our ATV adventure so Juan to us to a lunch spot he knew which was amazing then off to the ATV with Jeronimo who was awsome even in the rain which made in more intense and exciting….best adventure but most of all Juan thank you for your knowledge of the city and company.

What an amazing experience! I brought a group of 7 friends that have never been to Colombia and the best experience they had was the Amazing tour Andres and our tour guide Daniel gave us.
From the beautiful mountains on our horseback ride to the adrenaline ride on our ATVs. Daniel was bilingual and made the experience much simpler for the ones I’m my group that didn’t know Spanish.
I will definitely recommend this adventure and tour to anyone seeking to do something fun in Medellin. I will definitely be coming back and reserving with Andres for our next adventure in Medellin.

As our first tour in Colombia… This experience has been incredibly breath-taking!
From the time we got picked up untill we were dropped off, it was, really, a fun and learning experience through laughter with Ulrich.
Ulrich has been an amazing driver/tour guide throughout the whole day. He was really insightful about the history of Colombia and we learned to much from this particular combined tour.
We experienced a whole different “world” when we went horseback riding. The horses were really beautiful as well as the views that we saw when going up and down the hills.
For the adrenaline junky, the ATV tour was very fun to do. As our first timer, our tourguide, was really patient with us throughout the whole trip.
At the end, we ended it this amazing trip with a nice dinner at El Llanerito. Super delicious food!
All in all this combo was actually worth it!!!!

Andres speaks perfect English and made every accommodation we needed with travel. He gave us a great itinerary and connected us with his guide Ulrich. Ulrich was not just great for conversation but was like family right away. The ATV guide was Jose and was a great time. Lunch was at a great restaurant and we enjoyed the local Carne.
Not only is this a great tour but also get a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to them all! We will definitely be returning for the horseback riding again!

What a wonderful package, my friend and I were visiting Medellin for the first time and wanted experience an outdoor adventure in the Andes.
Our bilingual tour guide Andres was extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Communication was excellent as soon you book you get a WhatsApp message with all the information you need. He picked us up in the morning for our private tour, where we headed to Rionegro for a beautiful horseback ride through a mountain trail. We were beginner level riders and he made us feel very safe while teaching us about the horses and the surrounding areas.
We then headed to the next location for lunch and and a fun yet grounding ATV ride with gorgeous views in the mountains. Overall it was a great experience well organized and definitely would recommend!

I have never done ATVs or ever rode a horse before, and Andres and Henry (our guide) got the right horses for us and found the coolest and best place to ride ATVs. We got to go by the airport and take cool pictures with the deplaned airplanes. The horseback riding was so much fun, and was somewhat unexpected. Despite kind of losing a horse who trotted away back to the farm, we got to see Antioquia with the sun setting and got to experience some of the best views a trip to Medellin has to offer! I definitely recommend for anyone who is up for a little adventure!

Horseback Riding and ATVs Tour Itinerary:
After we pick you up at your place of stay we drive south of Medellin to meet the first friends you will make this day: the horses.
Horseback riding in Medellin:
After booking this tour we get in touch to ask you some questions about your experience with horses so we can choose the right horse for you.
When we get there we will already know which horse will make a perfect match for each rider.
After greeting your soon-to-be best friend for the next two hours we help you get on the horse and give you the instructions to have a safe, fun and comfortable ride.
Whether you are an experienced rider or a beginner this activity is for you.
Our very friendly and obedient horses are suitable for children and non-skilled riders.
Our horseback rides have beautiful sceneries with unforgettable views that will last forever in your memories.
We have great horses! You can canter and gallop if you feel like it, otherwise we can just go slow to appreciate the views.
After 7 miles we finish the ride, say thank you and goodbye to our beautiful friends and continue to our next stop.
The drive from the horses to the ATVs is around 20 minutes.
ATVs ride:
Once we get to the ATVs place the bikes will be waiting for us so we can start right away to be trained.
The ride’s duration is 1.5 hours (one hour and a half), not including the initial instructions.
First of all, we give you all the instructions on how to properly ride ATVs so we can make it in the safest way.
Then we provide you with the equipment, namely a helmet and body protection.
We recommend you to wear trekking boots or sneakers but in any case avoid flip flops or sandals.
It is also recommended to bring with you spare clothes for after the ATVs adventure.
In Our Horseback Riding and ATVs Tour Safety Comes First
This activity is very safe, however we provide an emergency insurance to the tour participants .
In addition, in both activities we always ride with two guides, one in the front to lead and the other in the back to follow.
This is to ensure your security at all times.
We pride ourselves on the fact that we have not had an accident to date in over 500 rides. This is why we advise you to follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
After we finish the ride we start our drive back to your hotel full of good memories and with a smile in your face.

We did the horse tour one day and the ATV tour the next with our two children. It was absolutely fantastic. Andres is a very kind guide who tells you everything about beautiful Colombia. We all found it truly magical. The horses look well-cared for and are very reliable animals.
